Brief description of fishery:
Poaka Beck is our smallest water of 17 acres but still a sizeable one.
Again often visited by ospreys hunting for their evening meal!
stocked with bigger rainbows, Poaka Beck offers some seriously good sport, and on a calm evening the reservoir seems to come alive with fly hatches.
No fishing from the dam, however all three banks are very accessible offering easy casting and great fishing.
if you like a long walk from the car park, the inlet maybe a good place to start…
