Exchange Ticket Arrangements

Barrow Angling Association have established reciprocal relationships with other Angling Associations to provide our members with free fishing on the waters of these clubs.

These additional waters offer the full range of game fishing options: salmon, sea-trout, wild brown trout and grayling in the most stunning locations for our members to take advantage of.

Currently we have exchange agreements with the following Associations:

Kirkby Stephen Angling Association

Fishing on the river Eden for truly wild brown trout and grayling, over 9 miles on the main river and a further 4 miles on its tributaries Scandal Beck and the River Belah in some of the most idyllic settings of the Lake District, Kirkby Stephen really does offer some fantastic fishing.

Appleby Angling Association

Approximately 20 miles of River Eden fishing is available at Appleby through our exchange system. Appleby have some amazing water and brown trout and grayling can be found in good size and number, if you know where to find them.

Millom & District Angling Association

Salmon, sea trout and brown trout fishing are all available.

Millom have some superb waters for salmon and sea trout, from the lower Duddon, lower Esk, Irt and others (go to MADAA website below for a full listing). In addition, MAA have still water brown trout fishing on the really wild Devoke water situated on Birker Fell (via Ulpha).

How to obtain Exchange Tickets

It is important to note that you cannot just turn up to fish the exchange waters, you must always make the arrangements in advance.
