Barrow Angling Association Trout Section Open Competition 2025

This year, instead of a weekend Open Day we are planning to have an Open Night Competition on Poaka Beck. The competition will run from 1830 – 2100 on 21 May 2025.  You do not have to be a member of Barrow Angling Association to take part as we want to introduce our waters to new anglers.  If you are a member you can still take part but we encourage you to bring a friend or relation who may be interested in taking up fishing or joining the club.

There will not be any entrance fee and the prizes will be small trophies.  Juniors are encouraged to come along.  If there are anglers who wish to spin fish then we will allocate a bank dedicated to spinning.
